Do I need to empty out my drawers?

Not usually. However, if your drawers are filled with anything denser than clothing, you might want to consider removing it. No liquids, breakables or valuables in drawers.

Will you disassemble and reassemble furniture?

Yes, and the cost is usually included in the cost of the move.

Will you provide protection for floors and doorways?

All of our moving vans are equipped with floor runners, carpet shield and pads for banisters. If you have concerns, please let us know before the move, so that we can be prepared.

Can you arrange furniture in my new home?

Naturally. We’ll make sure you’re completely satisfied with your new home’s furniture arrangement before we leave.

What happens if it’s raining?

We are prepared to handle all types of weather.

How can I keep the cost of my move down?

Schedule your move early and keep costs down by clearly communicating with your estimator and being organized and ready on moving day.

Should I tip the movers?

Moving is a service industry, so if you like our service, you can feel free to tip accordingly.

How do you determine the cost of a move?

Local Moves, under 40 miles: These moves are based on hourly rates and services provided as outlined in our PA PUC tariff.

Moves over 40 miles: These moves are based on weight, miles and services as outlined in our PA PUC
Tariff.

Interstate / Allied Van Lines: Moves to / or from another state are determined primarily by weight, miles and services needed for a great move.
